Description The ASP Field Trauma Kit (FTK) Pouch was designed with self-defense instructor John Correia, the host of the Active Self Protection and ASP Extra YouTube Channels. With the training environment, shooting range, and field carry in mind, he wanted a pouch that was easy to access, readily identifiable as medical, small enough for easy belt carry, but large enough to hold the normal contents of a full IFAK (Individual First-Aid Kit) We ship the ASP-FTK Pouch empty so you can fill it with your own personalized choice of contents. IFAK contents vary widely, often reflecting specific training doctrine, department guidelines, expected environment, and personal preferences. Organization is made easy with an internal pocket and XHD (Extra Heavy-Duty) elastic straps. The outside is kept slick except for a loop field for medical or ID patches. It is capable of holding: Tourniquet (rapid-access via removeable shock-cord loops; may also be carried inside for more protection) Nitrile gloves 4″ Pressure dressing/compression bandage Compressed gauze/hemostatic gauze Chest seal pair Nasopharyngeal airway Decompression needle Permanent marker, small or regular Sharpie-type Medical shears PFAK (Personal First-Aid Kit) — Our small “BooBoo” kit for minor cuts and scrapes. The ASP-FTK Pouch features our signature Wilderness wraparound belt loop. This allows the pouch to be put on or removed without removing your belt, and offers a wide enough channel to fit duty belts, warbelt sleeves, and many padded backpack hip belts.
