Heavenly Pop began in a small Jerusalem kitchen when Yaakov Wagshul started experimenting with caramel popcorn recipes for family and friends. What began as a homemade treat quickly developed a loyal following, and the demand for his popcorn led him to turn the recipe into a full business. Today the popcorn is still made using the same family formula, now overseen by his grandson Shmuel Horwitz, who continues producing it in the hills of Judea while keeping the character of the original recipe intact. This caramel blend starts with freshly popped corn that is coated in a glossy caramel made from slowly heated sugar and oil. The coating settles into a thin shell that clings to each kernel, giving the popcorn its distinctive crunch while preserving the light interior of the corn itself. The result is a snack that feels generous and satisfying, with the deep sweetness of caramel balanced by the simple grain flavor of the popcorn.
